We have three preschool locations: one on our main campus in Ridgefield, and our Landmark of Ridgefield Academy Preschools in Redding (Georgetown section) and Westport, CT

Children are born with a natural curiosity and a love of exploring and experimenting, and Ridgefield Academy's Preschools make the most of each student's innate learning ability with an appropriate blend of academic content and play activities. Students are encouraged to attempt and enjoy new challenges under the nurturing guidance of our experienced and dedicated preschool educators. Our students discover the joy of learning, develop self-esteem through early successes, and build a strong foundation for later schooling.

Our full-day preschool program provides a balanced learning environment for children ages three and four. We combine an introduction to academics, such as age-appropriate phonics and math concepts, with opportunities for social and emotional growth and character building. As their minds grow, so do their bodies, and our engaging creative movement program helps to build these skills. Our rich and varied curriculum is unique in providing French, music, and computers to pre-schoolers. Monthly themes weave these concepts together to provide our students with an integrated approach to learning new and exciting concepts.

Our class sizes are exceptionally small, with student-teacher ratios of 3:1.  We offer a full-day program and Before and After Care programs to accommodate parents' busy schedules.
